He displayed his toned body, flaunting his enormous traps and six-pack.
Elanga, who spent a large portion of his teenage years at Old Trafford as a scrawny teen, has had a long journey.
Everything changed in January 2021 when he sustained a shoulder injury.
Elanga, 21, underwent cryotherapy as part of his rehabilitation process and demonstrated a commitment to recovering stronger.
Over the following summer he worked with a private coach to beef up – and the results are clear to see.
He is believed to have worked specifically on explosive pace and jump height and was reportedly one of the most dedicated United players in the gym during his time at the club.
The Swede came just four inches shy of the world record last year when he produced a career best box jump of 63 inches.
Elanga has basically gone from strength to strength at Forest and has not shown any signs of slowing down.
In 12 games for Steve Cooper’s team, he has two goals and three assists, including a memorable victory against Chelsea in September.
In the process, he has scored more Premier League goals than all of United’s forwards combined. Daniel Sturridge commended his “calm” finish at London Stadium.
