Daisy’s Owner Saved Her From Euthanasia And She Is Now A Happy Dog And A Social Media Star

Daisy‘s owner was looking for a special needs dog to adopt, when she found her, in the summer of 2011. Daisy was born with a congenital deformity in her front legs, and as a special needs dog she would be among the first to be euthanized at the shelter. The owner was heartbroken as most of these dogs had little chance of finding forever homes, and decided to take Daisy home.

Daisy is now 5 years old and a social media star. The adorable dog moves with the help of a wheelchair, while as her owner states, she doesn’t pity her disability, but she applauds her strength and courage. “I decided to use social media platforms to share Daisy’s story and raise positive awareness for all disabled dogs. With Daisy’s sweet nature, spunky attitude, and underbite smile, she has gained many fans from all around the world and I am beyond grateful. I hope that Daisy’s story and photos will continue to spread and more people will open their hearts to dogs with special needs,” explains her owner.
