Mesut Ozil has been a busy man recently – admittedly not on the pitch, through no fault of his own – and the next step on his journey has been realised today with the launch of his debut M10 clothing collection. The M10 brand is a pet project that the Arsenal midfielder has been working on for a long time, and despite recent collaborations with the likes of Hide & Jack, this collection also coincides with the launch of the brand website, bringing something tangible to the table.
“We cross cultures. We are part of an international community standing for freedom and inclusivity. We are a generation that feels home everywhere, but rests nowhere. We are rooted in movement,” reads the website. It instantly shows the multicultural and inclusive approach that has been so integral to Ozil’s life and that is now carried forward into the brand ethos, creating an instant community that is encapsulated within the clothing.
After several years of development, the M10 logo is now available on a variety of hoodies, t-shirts, caps, and accessories. This is the result of a passion project. And this is only the start. More is to come as the emerging brand establishes itself in a market that is always changing.
